Vithoulkas,
Professor of Homeopathic
Medicine, is one of the most famous reformers of Homeopathy during the
20th
century. In 1996, he was
honored with the Right Livelihood Award (also known as
Alternative Nobel Prize http://www.rightlivelihood.org
) “...for his outstanding contribution to the revival of
homeopathic knowledge
and the training of homeopaths to the highest standards”. George Vithoulkas introduced a
new model in the
interpretation of the function of human organism in relation to health
and disease.
According to this model, he expressed his
definition of
total health.
In 1995, he established International Academy of Classical Homeopathy
in
Alonissos. Appoximately 25.000 homeopaths from 32 countries have
attended his courses since 1970. His books have been translated in 20 languages
and many of his articles have been published in peer-reviewed
